Reduce risk of bacteria
The main element of protection against the bacteria is proper hygiene - washing hands, rational behaviour and using high quality products which may reduce the risk of the common cold and different types of flu.
The following are very important in preventing disease:
- Avoid direct contact with sick people should be avoided;
- Remember about hygiene when breathing, i.e. covering your mouth when coughing and sneezing your nose and mouth (preferably with a disposable tissue);
- Personal hygiene is important, i.e. frequent hand washing;
- When traveling, it is worth carrying 80% alcohol hand sanitiser or disposable wipes with the addition of alcohol;
- Do not touch the mouth, eyes or nose with dirty hands;
- Contact with both animals and their excreta should be avoided, especially when traveling.
